This privacy policy concerns the information that we collect from you when you use our website or our Semine Apps in Microsoft AppSource. When we collect this information, we act as a "processor", and we are required by law to provide you with information about us, about why and how we use your data and about the rights that you have with respect to your data.

How we use your information

When you use our website to look through our products and services and the information that we provide, cookies from both ourselves and third parties are used which are essential in order for the website to function, in order to collect useful information about visitors and to help improve your user experience.

Some of the cookies we use are strictly necessary in order for our website to function and we do not ask for permission to place these on your computer.

Semine AS processes the personal data you provide when you register with us and information which you otherwise voluntary disclose, such as your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number.

Semine AS also registers and processes information about your relationship with us as a customer on an ongoing basis, for example an overview of the goods you have purchased.

We use the personal data to give you the products and services for which you have registered and in order to administer the customer relationship, make deliveries, provide services and product information and handle complaints and invoicing.

While using our Apps

We do not collect personally identifiable data. For information about data collection by Microsoft, please refer to the privacy policy from Microsoft, which you agreed to when purchasing your Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution. We do not collect any log data with personally identifiable information. Microsoft Dynamics 365 collects user log data, but we do not access or collect this data.

The use of cookies (data files)

We store personal data in accordance with applicable legislation and have measures in place at all times to comply with applicable requirements regarding confidentiality, availability and integrity. Your personal data will be stored for as long as Semine AS has an objective need for it and under no circumstances for any longer than that which follows from applicable legislation at all times. When Semine AS no longer has any objective need to store personal data, the data will be deleted or anonymised.

Disclosure of personal data and duty of confidentiality

We will not disclose personal data which concerns you to third parties, except when the personal disclosure is disclosed:

1. With the consent of the person that the information concerns

I. Pursuant to a law or a regulation issued pursuant to a law,

II. In accordance with an order issued by a court or other public authority, or

III. As part of the collection of payment, etc. when there are reasonable grounds to do so.

The duty of confidentiality will however not prevent Semine AS from making available the abovementioned personal data to companies which by agreement with Bilagos AS share the technical or administrative operation of our services.

When we disclose personal data to the companies referred to above, we ensure that these third parties comply with Semine AS’s requirements regarding the processing and use of personal data and applicable legislation in force at all times.

When you submit an enquiry via our website

When you submit an enquiry via our website, we may ask you for your name, company name, telephone number and e-mail address.

We will use this information to answer your enquiry, including giving you the information you have requested about our products and services. We may also send you an e-mail on several occasions after your enquiry in order to follow up your interest and make sure that we have answered your enquiry to your satisfaction. We will do this based on our legitimate interest in providing you with accurate information prior to a sale.

Your rights as a data subject

You are entitled by law to ask us what information we have stored about you and you can ask us to correct this information if it is inaccurate.

If we have asked for your consent to process your personal data, you can withdraw this consent at any time.

If we process your personal data in accordance with your consent or in order to fulfil a contract or order, you can ask us to provide you with a copy of this information in a machine-readable format, so that you can transfer it to another supplier. If we process your personal data on the basis of your consent or a legitimate interest, you can ask for your data to be erased.

You have a right to ask us to stop using your information for a period of time if you believe that we have no legal basis to use this information.

Finally, under certain circumstances, you can ask us to make decisions which affect you by using automated processing or profiling. Your right to complain

If you have a complaint concerning the way in which we use your information, please contact us directly in the first instance so that we can deal with your complaint. However, you may also contact the Norwegian Data Protection Authority if you have a complaint.

Updates to this privacy policy

We regularly evaluate and, if necessary, update this privacy policy from time to time and in the event of developments in our services and use of personal data. If we wish to use your personal data in a way which we have not previously told you about, we will contact you to tell you about this and if necessary ask for your consent.

By using our website, you consent to any disputes being considered by a court of law in Kristiansand in accordance with the laws of Norway, unless otherwise follows from local law.

We will update the date of this document every time it is amended.
