Aqua Dental: Automating Accounts Payable with AI Solution SEMINE

As Aqua Dental continues its rapid growth, they are automating their accounts payable processes with the AI-solution SEMINE to enhance efficiency and optimise cost control.

With Aqua Dental's expansion from a local business to one of Sweden's largest dental chains, operating 37 clinics and employing over 800 people, the need for a more flexible accounts payable solution became clear. Their journey toward becoming Sweden’s most reliable dental care provider began in 2014. By 2023, managing over 20,000 invoices, they quickly realised that their current system couldn't keep up.

– We were spending too much time on manual invoice handling, which slowed down our ability to focus on more strategic tasks and decreased our efficiency, says Wilhelm Vanhala, Group Manager Finance.

From manual to smart automation 

To manage the rapid growth without expanding the finance team, Aqua Dental recognised the need for a comprehensive accounts payable automation solution. They searched for a future-proof system with documented customer success that could be adjusted internally without relying on external providers.
